What?

"Mega community evening".

In conjuction with Microsofts Azure Summit (http://azuresummit.cloudapp.net/) on the 18th and 19th of November the .NET, SQL and BizTalk user groups will all have events on the evening of the 18th. This covers the BizTalk content.

Mapping

Johan will talk about transformations and the BizTalk Mapper. He start of looking at some basic but perhaps not commonly known facts and how they affect, and should influence, us when we design, build and troubleshoot our maps. He will continue to look at how to solve some re-accuring mapping challenges using out of the box functoids as well as custom xslt and other helpers.

Orchestrations

Jan will talk about orchestrations, in particular transactions. The talk will be focused around how transactions work, how exception handling works and how compensation works. Especially compensation is poorly described and rarely used and hopefully after this talk you will be better prepared to do proper compensation in your business processes.
